Educate Kenyans on benefits of conference tourism
Kenya recently hosted the TICAD IV conference. Foreign Affairs CS Amina Mohamed said the meet injected close to Sh12 billion into the economy. Not many people seem convinced such conferences are financially beneficial to them. The feeling on the ground is that these meetings are for the elite. The relevant agencies should engage the public, the average mama mboga, on the aims and benefits of these meetings. The counties should be engaged to disseminate information about conference tourism to people at the grassroots level.
