Parents want daughter paid for train accident
Parents of a 13-year-old girl seek justice for their daughter (pictured) who was run over by a Rift Valley Railway train on June 29. Sharon Makungu, a standard five pupil lost both legs. She also lost three fingers of her right hand. Elias Ndune and Jacqueline Ndune said on Thursday the railway company never bothered about the girl, despite the father’s efforts to obtain compensation. He said it bought a wheelchair for her.
