Half of women in Lamu against fam­ily plan­ning

Only 42.2 per cent of women in Lamu are on con­tra­cep­tives, while 50 per cent of them do not want to use any form of fam­ily plan­ning, the Na­tional Coun­cil for Pop­u­la­tion and De­vel­op­ment has said. But at least 71 per cent of residents use con­doms, ac­cord­ing to an NCPD sur­vey con­ducted last year, chair­per­son Sy­mon Pepee said on Sun­day.
