WHAT POSITIONS HAVE KANU AND CCM TAKEN?
Kanu has not made it clear if it will field a presidential candidate. However, there are indications that it has gained ground in Baringo, West Pokot and parts of Elgeyo Marakwet. Kanu official Paul Kibet said they are targeting as many as 100 elective positions in the Rift Valley alone. Governor Rutto’s CCM party has on the other hand made major inroads in Bomet, Kericho, Nakuru and Nandi counties where it could upset Jubilee. He said the party has at least 40 county offices across the country.
