VICTIMS PLEAD WITH OPARANYA
Sources told the Star some of the suspended employees used an MCA to try and reach Governor Wycliffe Oparanya at a Kisumu hotel on Monday last week. They wanted to plead with him to save their jobs, but he turned down their request. Oparanya announced a reshuffle of chief officers the following day. Treasury chief officer Kenneth Kinyua was moved to Agriculture and his position taken by Everlyn Mulunji.
