If Rift leaders are tribal, what do we expect of students?

The Star (Kenya) - - News -

I was extremely baffled when I watched as two governors and a group of MPs from the Rift Valley stormed Moi University, threatening to interrupt today’s graduation ceremony if ‘one of their own’ is not appointed vice chancellor. This is retrogressive, ridiculous and uncalled for and must be condemned. It promotes tribalism, which leaders must desist from. If elected leaders are fuelling tribalism so blatantly, what do we expect from our students when it comes to university politics? Politicians must keep off management of education institutions.
