Karua’s bid for Kirinyaga governor dead on arrival

The Star (Kenya) - - News -

Wednesday’s edition of the Star reported that Narc-Kenya leader and former presidential candidate Martha Karua will announce her candidature for Kirinyaga governor in two weeks. But her bid may be dead on arrival based on two key issues. First is her failure to acknowledge the supremacy of President Uhuru Kenyatta in Mt Kenya region politics. Her insistence on remainining in Nark-Kenya while others are migrating to the Jubilee Party is a pointer to this fact. Second, her affiliation with Cord’s Raila Odinga does not place her in a favourable position in Kirinyaga.
