OWNERSHIP WRANGLES TO END
The programme tagets large-scale farms, which have ownership wrangles. Last year, Khaemba said the programme’s success will end such problems. Most of the farms were bought by co-operative societies and land buying companies for their members, but they have not obtained title deeds for many years. “We have asked residents to provide all the documentation they have so the plan can work well. We want landowners to get titles as soon as possible,” Khaemba told the Star.
