MCAs HECKLED, INSULTED FOR DEFYING RAILA LAST YEAR
Residents and activists in May last year locked MCAs out of the assembly over their persistent wrangles. More than 200 youths hurled insults at MCAs Josephat Otiende (South West Kisumu), Jackton Onunga (Nyalenda A) and Gabriel Ochieng’ (Kondele) and suspended majority leader Samuel Ong’ow. They accused them of defying Cord leader Raila Odinga’s position that deputy speaker Pamela Omino act as the speaker following Anne Adul’s exit. Adul was suspended over corruption allegations. She was cleared by the court in March last year.
