Cattle rustling a crime not a cultural practice
The current state of insecurity in the Kerio Valley, Elgeyo Marakwet, must now be solved once and for all. In the 21st century, we cannot tolerate cattle rustling and banditry as a cultural practice. This is a crime and must be treated so by the government. I call upon the local and national leadership to take drastic measures to end this madness. The people of the Kerio Valley have a right to a peaceful environment and necessary steps must be taken to guarantee this. We cannot afford to lose more lives to crimes related to cattle rustling! I hope action will be taken to have peace and order restored in the region.
