Political parties Act causes trouble and instability
The signing into law of the Political Parties Amendment Bill 2016 by President Uhuru Kenyatta brought a lot of political indiscipline. With the general election slated for August next year, those elected are already crossing the bridge before reaching it. Instead of serving their constituents, they are busy switching parties, forming and breaking alliances. They are already in campaign mode. These leaders should focus on what they were elected to do before campaigning for 2017 and, surprisingly, already for 2022.
