The Star (Kenya) - - Counties Rift Valley -

Devolution CS Mwangi Kiunjuri has drummed up support for the Jubilee administration, saying President Uhuru Kenyatta deserves a second term to meet his targets. He said key reforms, especially in the education and transport sectors, have been realised under the leadership of the Jubilee administration. Kiunjuri spoke at Kapkigorwet Primary School, Bomet Central, on Friday during the launch of the countrywide ICT programme. The CS was accompanied by Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto, Senator Wilfred Lesan, area MP Ronald Tonui and woman representative Cecilia Ngetich. He said the Kikuyu community has “only one debt with the Kalenjins”, which will be settled in 2022. “Sisi kama Wakikuyu tunajua tuko and deni yenu moja tu ........ 2022 tunalipa hiyo deni kwa kumpigia Ruto awe rais wa nchi hii (As the Kikuyu community, we are indebted to the Kalenjin community ....... In 2022 we will repay the debt by voting in Ruto as President),” Kiunjuri said.
