Ger­many’s na­tional day also known as ‘The Day of Ger­man Unity’ is cel­e­brated an­nu­ally as a pub­lic hol­i­day on Oc­to­ber 3. The day com­mem­o­rates the an­niver­sary of Ger­man re­uni­fi­ca­tion in 1990.

On Fri­day af­ter­noon, the Ger­man am­bas­sador Jutta Frasch hosted a gar­den party at her of­fi­cial res­i­dence in Muthaiga in hon­our of the day. In at­ten­dance were diplo­matic corps as well as cor­po­rate heads.
