Woman rep will be reelected, her rivals will waste time and cash – MYWO chair

Anyone who wants to run for Nyandarua woman representative should shelve their ambitions as incumbent Wanjiku Muhia will be reelected, an official says.

Maendeleo ya Wanawake Ol Kalou chairperson Milka Waikere said other aspirants will waste their time and money. “We shall eat their money, but vote for Muhia,” she said.

Nyandarua has faith in Muhia and will vote for her as a bloc to reward her for her performance, Waikere said.

She spoke last Wednesday in Kiracha, Kipipiri. She was with Muhia to present a flock of sheep worth Sh100,000 to John Gituamba Self-help Group. The group has 22 members living with disability.

Waikere said in less than a year since the National Affirmative Action Fund was implemented, Muhia has used the money well and helped people living with disability to have productive lives.
