Voting out Awiti would hurt projects, deputy tells youth

The Star (Kenya) - - Counties -

Homa Bay Deputy Governor Hamilton Orata on Thursday urged the youth to vote wisely next year. He said the decision of who leads the residents will be issue-based, not a matter of “gambling” with the county leadership. He said Governor Cyprian Awiti’s administration has been tried and tested and any change of leadership will be a big blow to the county’s development agenda. “We’ve rolled out enormous projects for the youth to empower them and improve their lives,” Orata said. He said factories such Animal Feeds, Kegoto Maize Milling and others will employ many young people.
