Parallel NYS case proceedings should be complementary
We now have the NYS scandal case proceedings in the courts and in Parliament. Former NYS director general Nelson Githinji and Directorate of Criminal Investigations boss Ndegwa Muhoro last week appeared before the Parliamentary Accounts Committee and tabled more evidence. The question that emerges from these parallel proceedings is, will the parliamentary committee findings and recommendations be forwarded as evidence before the court, and if so, how will it happen? It is important not to duplicate the process.
