MP WAITITU DEFENDS RUN-INS WITH THE PO­LICE

Waititu said he is con­fi­dent he will be elected the next gov­er­nor of Ki­ambu. “I have sup­port from the peo­ple of Ki­ambu. They have seen the light and have de­cided to bring change to Ki­ambu. I will floor the in­cum­bent early in the morn­ing, come Au­gust 8 next year,” Waititu said. He said a re­cent opin­ion poll showed he has sup­port of 49 per cent of the res­i­dents ahead of Kabogo’s 22 per cent. Waititu de­fended his oc­ca­sional run-ins with law en­force­ment, say­ing he was fight­ing for public prop­erty.
