Useless, unethical MCAs should be kicked out in polls

The Star (Kenya) - - Voices -

They proudly refer to themselves as waheshimiwa or honourable MCAs. But they no longer deserve that title; they are absolute ly horrible set of nonstarters, on grounds of morality and integrity. We don’t have to offer an apology for stating that. In fact, they owe us all an apology. They are a shame to us! How many times have they disrupted House business on the premise of differences with the governors? How many times have they been accused of serious fraudulent activities or silly benchmarking trips abroad? Recently two Kisii MCAs were caught in a compromising situation with two schoolgirls. Do we know why we have them in those positions? We erred in 2013 by electing them in a “small position that didn’t mean much”. This is a mistake we must not repeat in 2017. We must all take it upon ourselves to vote them out and elect sober leaders.
