It requires all of us to back Knec and report exam cheats
With the national examinations set to begin in three weeks’ time, every Kenyan should take part in efforts to tame exam cheating and irregularities. The government and stakeholders in the education sector have been brainstorming all through the year to curb exam cheating, which was clearly threating the quality of our education. The Kenyan National Examination Council has gone through numerous reforms, and its Act has been amended by adding new rules and regulations. Thus, it is expected that this year exams will be free from irregularities. However, this will only be achieved if we all pull in the same direction. It is only fair that when one notices a problem in the distribution and administration of the exams, they immediately to report to the relevant authorities. It is only right that people get what they have worked for — not hrough dubious means.
