Register to vote in Changamwe, not rural area – hopeful

The Star (Kenya) - - Counties Coast -

The battle for Changamwe MP has intensified and aspirants urge supporters register as voters en masse. On Sunday, aspirant Daniel Muange took his voter registration campaign to AIC Changamwe Church, where he was invited to a harambee. The businessman wants residents, especially the majority Kamba, to register to vote in Changamwe and not upcountry. “Register as voters where you live because that is where you spend 90 per cent of your life. Do not elect leaders for other people,” he said. Other aspirants are incumbent Omar Mwinyi, Peterson Mitau, Kennedy Muthini, Francis Mulinge, Abdi Daib, Alliy Goshi and Hajir Maow.
