Mondo Ride looks to tap clients with no In­ter­net ac­cess

CYN­THIA ILAKO / The Dubai­head­quar­tered taxi-hail­ing ser­vice provider Mondo Ride yes­ter­day un­veiled a 24-hour cus­tomer ser­vice call cen­tre to en­able cus­tomers pre­order cars with­out hav­ing to use a smart­phone or In­ter­net to book a ride. Mondo Ride has launched an app that al­lows clients to pick a driver of their choice. “With the fea­ture, we have en­abled them to ride with driv­ers they like and trust,” vis­it­ing global chief ex­ec­u­tive Troels An­der­sen told re­porters in Nairobi yes­ter­day. He said there are no re­stric­tions on the num­ber of times cus­tomers book the same car.
