CITY’S SAGNA OUT WITH HAMSTRING INJURY
Bacary Sagna has been ruled out of action for three weeks after suffering a hamstring injury on international duty.
The Manchester City defender pulled his hamstring during France’s 4-1 victory against Bulgaria last week and is expected to be out of action until November at the earliest. Sagna sustained the injury while giving away a penalty in Les Bleus’ World Cup qualifier and is set to miss some huge games for Pep Guardiola’s men.
City face Everton, Barcelona, Manchester United, Southampton and West Brom in the next few weeks but will do so without the Frenchman, who has already been troubled by injury this season. The former Arsenal right back suffered a similar problem in his side’s 5-0 win over Steaua Bucharest in August.
