The Star (Kenya) - - Politics -

Earlier in the morning, judge Joseph Sergon fought off an impression that his integrity is questionable. He rated himself at eight on a scale of 10. Sergon was dismissed by the Judges and Magistrates Vetting Board in 2011. He was eventually cleared by the board and reinstated after appealing against the decision. Sergon said in the cases he was questioned about, the board had been fed with one-sided information. He said he disqualified himself from cases in which parties wanted to influence him. Sergon rated himself at nine on professionalism. “I am very thorough with my rulings and judgments, which are analytical in nature.”
