Kirinyaga elders tell deputy governor to resign
The Kirinyaga Council of Elders has asked Deputy Governor Julius Njiri to resign if he cannot work with Governor Joseph Ndathi(pictured). Bishop Cyrus Githaka said Ndathi’s opponents are using Njiri to derail him. Addressing the press at a Kerugoya hotel, council officials said Njiri should respect the governor. ’’Let Njiri come out clearly instead of fighting Ndathi,” Githaka said.
