South C trader writes to NLC to stop land auction
A South C businessman has written to the CBK and NLC to help him prevent the auction of his two plots. He says the plots have been fraudulently charged by ABC Bank. Mohamed Aden said Mohamed Abdi and Aress Ibrahim of AIMA Enterprises allegedly used the titles as collateral without his knowledge. Bank documents obtained from the Anti Banking Fraud Unit show the two colluded with Gulf African and ABC banks to defraud Aden of his land in Lang’ata. The property has two titles as it was subdivided. ABC wants to auction the properties to recover Sh240 million.
