TRIBAL? NOT ME, SAYS GOVERNOR
In June, Khaemba denied accusations by critics that he does not promote equity in appointments and resource distribution. He said he is not tribal and denied sidelining Cherangany constituency. Speaking at Chebarus in Cherangany, he said those saying he favours only the Luhya were lying. Khaemba said Cherangany residents, and by extension the Kalenjin community, are major beneficiaries of his administration. He said Deputy Governor Stanley Tarus and three executives are from Cherangany, and three others from other communities.
