SAID HE COULD NOT JOIN JUBILEE
In March, Kenneth rejected Jubilee claims that he intended to join it. He said a meeting with Uhuru in Murang’a was ”only to discuss Murang’a leaders’ bickering”. The meeting was held in David Murathe’s home. Details of the meeting were scanty, but Murathe said Kenneth was “coming on board”. Kenneth said he was in the race to be Kenya’s fifth President. In an interview with the Star in March, he said it was difficult to credit the Jubilee leadership because its “deliveries have been very few”. Should he decide to join JP, he could complicate matters during the party’s nominations.
