Devolution Forum to be held in Kisumu
Thirteen governors from the Lake Region Economic Bloc are expected to attend Devolution Torch Forum in Kisumu. The forum will run from tomorrow to Saturday. Governors will discuss the gains of devolution.
Industrialisation executive Johnston Awour yesterday said the forum will enable stakeholders to suggest ways to improve service delivery. Present will be Cyprian Awiti (Homa Bay), Moses Akaranga (Vihiga), Okoth Obado (Migori), Kenneth Lusaka (Bungoma), Wycliffe Oparanya (Kakamega), Cornel Rasanga (Siaya), Paul Chepkwony (Kericho) and Sospeter Ojaamong (Busia).
Awuor called on residents to participate in devolution to improve service delivery. The Devolution Torch is an initiative of the Council of Governors to publicise what the counties have achieved since inception of devolution in 2013.
