2009: “There is no single health institution in this country which has enough staff. You will realise that some of the nurses that we had sent to Ijara resigned. They said that they could not work there. As the government, we shall try our best to continue recruiting and posting nurses to those areas when funds become available. We require about 34,000 nurses for both public and private sectors in this country to give proper services. At the moment, we have about 16,000 nurses in the two Ministries.”

2010:“There is a lot of corruption in the countries. It seems that county government and competing with the national government to plunder resources. We need change. Raila Odinga deserves to be the president of this country even for one term only.”
