CONSTRUCTION STILL ONGOING

Construction work has been going on since September 19 and 20, when the stop order was served on the Kenya Wildlife Service and Kenya Railways Corporation, respectively. The orders were intended to stop all construction works on Phase 2 A of the SGR running from Nairobi to Naivasha. Omtatah also wants the tribunal to declare that no environmental impact assessment report should be issued for Phase 2A of the project without due process.
