Karachuonyo MP James Rege has said he has not faced the ODM disciplinary committee to explain himself over his association with the Jubilee Party.

Rege yesterday said he does not deserve any expulsion from the party for a being a ‘rebel’ because the disciplinary team has not given him a chance to be heard.

He said he was not interrogated by the committee as he was outside the country when those perceived to have ditched the party were summoned.

The MP, however, affirmed that he is in ODM to stay as he had not announced he moved to Jubilee as reported.

“There is no reason why I must be kicked out of ODM. As far as I am concerned I’m a life member of the party and I have only been working with Jubilee for development in my constituency,” Rege said on the phone. He added, “It will be unfair for the party to punish me without listening to my side of the story.”
