Let’s not rush to blame HealthGate on the President

The Star (Kenya) - - News Business -

It is wrong to tarnish the name of President Uhuru Kenyatta in the recent Sh5.3 Mafya House scandal. First, the truth about this scam has not been clarified because it is still under investigation. Even if it is established that the President’s relatives were involved in the scam, what has this have to do with Uhuru as the President? He is not in charge of his relatives. It is them, individually, who should be held accountable Instead of castigating him, we all need to help him in the war on graft if we really want to win it. It calls for joint efforts to eradicate corruption.
