MADOKA HALF MARATHON THRILLS

There was pomp and colour at the Madoka Half Marathon last Satur­day as hun­dreds turned out for the an­nual event at Ngerenyi, Taita Taveta.

En­thu­si­asts cheered Bri­tish Deputy High Com­mis­sioner An­drew Bow­els as he crossed the fin­ish line.

The event is the brain­child of for­mer Mwatate MP Maj (Rtd) Mars­den Madoka who is cur­rently the Kenya Ports Au­thor­ity chair­man.

Taita Taveta gover­nor John Mruttu, Mwatate MP An­drew Mwadime, Taita Taveta women rep Joyce Lay, EAPC chair­man Bill Lay, Brook­side Dairy re­gional man­ager Davies Mwan­goma, Ath­let­ics Kenya Pres­i­dent Jack­son Tuwei were among those present.
