Kibaru said data for chil­dren be­tween five and 15 years is un­avail­able. “It is like our chil­dren get lost be­tween that age and no­body cares about them,” she said. Ac­cord­ing to the re­port, a huge num­ber of girls are un­able to tran­sit safely to adult­hood be­cause most of them are en­gaged in child labour. “Chil­dren be­tween five and 10 years work more than 28 hours a week with three out of four of them not paid,” the re­port said.
