Wiper meets to dis­ci­pline rebel MPs who de­fected to the Ju­bilee Party last month

Wiper party has sum­moned rebel MPs who de­fected to the Ju­bilee Party last month for dis­ci­plinary ac­tion.

Deputy chair­man Mu­tula Kilonzo Jnr told the Star the Na­tional Ex­ec­u­tive Com­mit­tee will meet to­day to give the dis­ci­plinary team the go-ahead to in­ves­ti­gate the MPs’ con­duct.

“We have re­con­sti­tuted the com­mit­tee to take ac­tion against mem­bers who de­fected. We will de­mand for a re­port within 14 days,” the Makueni Se­na­tor said.

Those to be sum­moned in­clude Joe Mu­tambu (Mwingi Cen­tral), Kisoi Mun­yao (Mbooni), Munuve Mati (Mwingi North) and Regina Ndambuki (Kilome).

Machakos Gover­nor Al­fred Mu­tua who has formed Maen­deleo Chap Chap Party is also ex­pected.
