Wiper meets to discipline rebel MPs who defected to the Jubilee Party last month
Wiper party has summoned rebel MPs who defected to the Jubilee Party last month for disciplinary action.
Deputy chairman Mutula Kilonzo Jnr told the Star the National Executive Committee will meet today to give the disciplinary team the go-ahead to investigate the MPs’ conduct.
“We have reconstituted the committee to take action against members who defected. We will demand for a report within 14 days,” the Makueni Senator said.
Those to be summoned include Joe Mutambu (Mwingi Central), Kisoi Munyao (Mbooni), Munuve Mati (Mwingi North) and Regina Ndambuki (Kilome).
Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua who has formed Maendeleo Chap Chap Party is also expected.
