Muia appointed Vision 2030 director general
President Uhuru Kenyatta has appointed Julius Muia (pictured) the Vision 2030 director general for three years. He replaces Mugo Kibati, whose term ended in 2013. The announcement was made by Vision 2030 Delivery Board chairman James Mwangi. Muia served as the secretary of the National Economic and Social Council, a government think-tank that facilitated the formulation of Vision 2030. He will be responsible for driving Kenya towards the realisation of Vision 2030.
