Creatives’ awards re­turn af­ter a break of twelve years

The award scheme in the ad­ver­tis­ing in­dus­try is set for a come­back this year af­ter a 12-year break. The As­so­ci­a­tion of Prac­ti­tion­ers in Ad­ver­tis­ing Awards says the 2016 fete will be held on Novem­ber 11. “Kenya is home to count­less in­di­vid­u­als with great cre­ative po­ten­tial, and these awards are cru­cial as they aim to recog­nise and re­ward ex­cel­lence, in­no­va­tion and orig­i­nal­ity,” APA chair­man Lenny Ng’ang’a said in a state­ment. About 15 cre­ative cat­e­gories will be awarded rang­ing from TV, ra­dio and print com­mer­cials, in­te­grated com­mu­ni­ca­tions cam­paign, dig­i­tal, in­ter­ac­tive, ex­pe­ri­en­tial and me­dia in­no­va­tion.
