50 CHARGED FOR BREAKING CURFEW
More than 50 people have been charged in court for violating the curfew imposed by the government on Thursday last week. The dusk-to-dawn curfew was published in a special Gazette notice after the Tuesday attack in which 12 people were killed by al Shabaab sympathisers. It states Mandera residents should be in their homes between 6.30pm and 6.30am for 60 days. on Monday Shisia said Shabaab spies are hiding among the community.
