Trade minister woos Turkish investors into Kenya economy
Trade Cabinet Secretary Adan Mohammed has called on Turkish traders to invest in Kenya to enjoy incentives it offers, including preferential access to world markets. The CS said Kenya is strategically located on the commercial gateway of Sub-Saharan Africa making it an ideal investment destination. Speaking in Istanbul, Turkey, yesterday during the TurkeyAfrica economic and business forum, Adan said Kenya enjoys free trade with EAC, Comesa and SADC, commanding a market of more than 600 million consumers. “We have a diversified growing economy with opportunities in manufacturing, agroprocessing and construction among others,” he said.
