CESC FABREGAS WANTS TO STAY AT CLUB CHELSEA
Cesc Fabregas wants to see out the season at Chelsea. The 29-year-old will be made available for loan in January as Chelsea consider venturing into the transfer market for a new playmaker. Paris St Germain midfielder Javier Pastore and Inter’s Marcelo Brozovic are among the names being considered, however Fabregas wants to stay and fight for his place. Antonio Conte has overlooked Fabregas for most of the season and refused to rule out a departure for the former Barcelona midfielder in the next transfer window when pressed on Friday.
Fabregas though is settled in London with his partner Daniella Semaan who is expecting their third child. He has not featured for Chelsea since the 3-0 defeat away at Arsenal on September 24 because of a thigh injury but has stepped up his return to fitness and hopes to impress Conte as the fixtures mount up closer to the Christmas period.
