Steal­ing Health cash equals crimes against hu­man­ity

Al­though Kenyans are be­com­ing ac­cus­tomed to peren­nial cor­rup­tion in the govern­ment, very few or none would have imag­ined that there would be queries re­gard­ing the use of Sh5.3 bil­lion in the crit­i­cal min­istry of Health. This is money meant for the vul­ner­a­ble in­clud­ing preg­nant women and ba­bies. Pa­tients should be taken care of and ev­ery ef­fort made to save their lives. That’s why civilised gov­ern­ments world over, in­vest heav­ily in health sys­tems . Steal­ing from the sick in noth­ing short of crimes against hu­man­ity.
