PROMISED NOT TO DIVIDE LOCALS

Before he was elected Embu senator, Lenny Kivuti had served as Siakago MP for two terms from 2007. Last month he promised residents he will not abandon them if they elect him governor. He said he will improve the existing cohesion and promote the welfare of residents so they can lead good lives. Kivuti said he will not divide residents along clan or tribal lines and he will consult stakeholders in every sector to come up with the best solutions to problems.
