Convene party meet or be axed, Wetang’ula told
Nyanza Ford Kenya officials have threatened to remove Moses Wetang’ula as party leader if a delegates’ meeting is not convened soon.
Led by Migori county chairman Samuel Migore, they accused Wetang’ula of refusing to convene a national council meeting or call for elections.
“Wetang’ula has not been respecting the party and even though he is the party leader, Ford Kenya does not belong to him,” Migore said.
He said Wetang’ula ignores party officials and delegates but works with officials from his Luhya backyard, failing to give the party a national outlook. “We need a national outlook and he should work closely with all leaders.”
