Wiper MP Robert Mutemi says he is be­ing vic­timised, faces ex­pul­sion from party

Wiper nom­i­nated MP Robert Mutemi, who faces ex­pul­sion, has said he is be­ing vic­timised. Last week, the Wiper Na­tional Ex­ec­u­tive Coun­cil an­nounced Mutemi and six other Ukam­bani politi­cians, in­clud­ing Machakos Gov­er­nor Al­fred Mu­tua, will face dis­ci­plinary pro­ceed­ings.

The oth­ers are Mwingi Cen­tral MP Joe Mu­tambu, Mwingi North MP John Munuve, Mbooni MP Kisoi Mun­yao, Kilome MP Regi­nah Ndambuki and Kaiti’s Richard Mak­enga. They are re­quired to face the dis­ci­plinary com­mit­tee to ex­plain why they should not be ex­pelled from the party af­ter de­fect­ing to the Ju­bilee Party. Mu­tua formed the Maen­deleo Chap Chap Move­ment. “They started the plot to have me re­moved long ago,” Mutemi said.
