Wiper MP Robert Mutemi says he is being victimised, faces expulsion from party
Wiper nominated MP Robert Mutemi, who faces expulsion, has said he is being victimised. Last week, the Wiper National Executive Council announced Mutemi and six other Ukambani politicians, including Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua, will face disciplinary proceedings.
The others are Mwingi Central MP Joe Mutambu, Mwingi North MP John Munuve, Mbooni MP Kisoi Munyao, Kilome MP Reginah Ndambuki and Kaiti’s Richard Makenga. They are required to face the disciplinary committee to explain why they should not be expelled from the party after defecting to the Jubilee Party. Mutua formed the Maendeleo Chap Chap Movement. “They started the plot to have me removed long ago,” Mutemi said.
