The US Em­bassy in Nairobi hosted an elec­tion party at am­bas­sador Robert Godec’s of­fi­cial res­i­dence in Muthaiga on Wednes­day morn­ing.

Amer­i­can res­i­dents liv­ing in Kenya had the chance to take part in a mock elec­tion and fol­low the pro­ceed­ings of the US elec­tions and there­after, usher in the new pres­i­dent elect.

In at­ten­dance were Op­po­si­tion leader Raila Odinga, Me­dia Coun­cil of Kenya chair­man Charles Kerich, Se­na­tor Zip­po­rah Kit­tony, con­ser­va­tion­ist Paula Kahumbu, Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua, Mom­basa Se­na­tor Has­san Omar, for­mer Di­rec­tor of Pub­lic Prose­cu­tions Philip Mur­gor and Kisumu Se­na­tor Anyang’ Ny­ong’o.
