Usiu face Eq­uity in last Premier League match

United States In­ter­na­tional Univer­sity (Usiu) tackle Eq­uity Bank in a cru­cial Premier League clash at Strath­more Univer­sity courts on Satur­day.

The ea­gerly awaited duel is the last fix­ture of the reg­u­lar sea­son be­fore pav­ing way for play­offs on Sun­day. A win for the stu­dents will push them past third placed Thun­der while a vic­tory for the bankers will see them fin­ish in the fourth place.

Kevin Kig­otho and Alex Ra­mazani have a fight in their hands as they go out to push USIU a step fur­ther than they did last year when they fin­ished sec­ond. How­ever, Eq­uity led by Vin­cent On­songo and Felix Luke are ex­pected to give as much as they re­ceive.

For­mer cham­pi­ons Co-op Bank of Kenya are lead­ing the pack on 41 points fol­lowed by reign­ing cham­pi­ons Ulinzi War­riors ( 38points ).

Kenya Ports Author­ity closes the six-team play off ros­ter. Lead­ing the women race is KPA. The porters re­main the only un­beaten side in the en­tire league with 36 points.
