1964: Born at Kaimosi, in Vihiga county
1973: Joins Kaimosi Demonstration Primary School where he sat for his CPE in 1979.
1980: He moved to Kakamega High School for his secondary education. He did his O levels in 1983.
1984: He joined Alliance High School for his A level exams which he did in 1985.
1986: University of Nairobi. Graduated with a degree in Medicine in 1992.
1993: Started his medical career as an intern at New Nyanza Provincial General Hospital. A year later was employed as a Medical officer at the same facility which he served until 1995.
1994: Radio broadcast doctor on KBC UNICEF sponsored program
1997: Menengai Nursing Home, Nakuru, Senior Medical Officer
1998: Bamalete Lutheran District hospital, Botswana, Principle Medical officer
2002-2004: University of Pretoria, South Africa, Master’s degree in Family Medicine.
