Immigrant Trump has no right to deport Africans

The Star (Kenya) - - Voices -

On his nasty and murky campaign trail, US President-elect Donald Trump promised to deport all African and Hispanic immigrants to their countries of origin. Trump, himself a child of grandparents from Germany and Scotland, is a beneficiary of the US immigration and naturalisation laws. It is worth knowing that the first people to settle in the US and Mexico were Black people called Olmeec, Aztec and Taino who once occupied the southern states of the USA and Tabasco province in Mexico. Their history in these lands stretches over 3,000 years like those of their cousins, the Aborigines of Australia, Papua New Guineans, the Maoris of New Zealand, the over 250 million Africoids of India, Pakistan, East Bengal and Bangladesh, among others. Trump himself is a product of immigrant ancestry and his threat to expel nonAmericans should not even cross his mind. We are now in a globalised world.
