Postal Cor­po­ra­tion de­vel­ops three-year plan to boost ser­vices, in­crease profit

The Postal Cor­po­ra­tion of Kenya has de­vel­oped a three-year strate­gic plan to en­hance ser­vices, cus­tomer sat­is­fac­tion and profit.

Board chair­man Wil­fred Sang on Thurs­day said they plan to make Posta a huge en­ter­prise in the near fu­ture.

He spoke in Madaraka vil­lage, Nyan­darua county, dur­ing the com­mis­sion­ing of the Madaraka Com­mu­nity Bore­hole Project.

The Sh4 mil­lion project was spon­sored by the Cor­po­ra­tion. “There is noth­ing bet­ter than do­ing some­thing for hu­man­ity,” Sang said.

Gov­er­nor Daniel Waithaka said the bore­hole will be of great help to the Madaraka com­mu­nity and Nyan­darua county as a whole.

“If we could have other gov­ern­ment and pri­vate or­gan­i­sa­tions as­sist­ing us in such a way, we would be very happy,” he said.

Waithaka said his ad­min­is­tra­tion will pay Sh1mil­lion to en­sure the wa­ter is dis­trib­uted to3,000 house­holds.
