Ose­rian qual­ify for FKF play­offs

Ose­rian Ladies wal­loped El­doret Falcons 8-0 yes­ter­day at their back­yard to qual­ify for the Foot­ball Kenya Fed­er­a­tion (FKF) women’s Pre­mier League play­offs.

With the re­sults, Ose­rian topped Zone ‘B’ league with 31 points same as Vi­higa Queens but with a su­pe­rior goal ag­gre­gate. They will now play over­all win­ner of Zone A.

Berth Omita and Jen­trix Nab­wire struck a hat-trick each with Leila Apiyo net­ting a brace to sink the visi­tors.

Omita opened the scores in the 22nd minute be­fore Nab­wire made it two for the hosts three min­utes later. Omita was at it again in the 27th minute with Apiyo open­ing her ac­count in the 30th minute.

Nab­wire re­turned to haunt the El­doret-based club in the 36 minute as she scored her sec­ond goal with Omita com­plet­ing her hat-trick in the 39th minute. Nab­wire com­pleted scored her third goal in 45th minute.

On re­turn, Apiyo added her sec­ond and eighth of the match in the 54th minute.
